Full Details:
The Dylan Thomas Centre, is a splendid building in the centre of Swansea, housing a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life and works of Dylan Thomas, Swansea’s most famous poet and writer. The Dylan Thomas Centre boasts possibly the best collection of Dylan Thomas memorabilia anywhere, celebrating his wonderful poetry and short stories.

Dylan Thomas was of course born in Swansea in 1914 and lived here until 1934. Around two-thirds of his work was written here and some of the most famous work of Dylan Thomas like ‘The Hunchback in the Park’ and ‘The Return Journey’ was inspired by this city.

The Dylan Thomas Centre makes for a great day out and hosts a shop and quality restaurant as well as exhibits and events. There is good parking and disabled access, and the Dylan Thomas centre is home to the Dylan Thomas festival during October and November.
