Self-catering farm cottage in Swansea Valley. Sleeps 4. Peaceful, yet convenient to amenities. Well placed for walking and touring.
Bwthyn Y Saer was once an estate carpenter's workshop. It is situated on the bank of the upper reaches of the picturesque River Clydach, home to a wide variety of wildlife. The fast flowing waters of the mountain river once turned a water wheel that powered the carpenters tools.
High hills of pennant sandstone rise to over a thousand feet behind the cottage, providing a striking background to an idyllic scene. Over a hundred acres of surrounding farmland includes beautiful oak woodland, mountain streams and hillside areas with wonderful views of Swansea Bay and Brecon Beacons National Park.
I can't imagine that we could have come across a nicer place to stay in the whole of Wales Frank, Fiona and family, Ireland.
