Holly cottage is detached and was originally a cart house with living accommodation above. The renovation has left the original stone walls and roof trusses intact and so is a cosy and charming place to stay with many interesting features.
The first floor has an open plan sitting room-kitchen with a stable door leading out into the cottages own garden at the rear. Stairs lead down to two bedrooms and the bathroom. One bedroom has a 5' double bed, the other has 3 twin 'zip and link' beds, enabling us to provide two double bedded rooms or one double and a twin room. The bathroom is fully equipped with bath, w.c., basin and separate shower. For laundry there is a washer/dryer downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and double oven/grill.
Central heating & hot water are provided by oil. The rooms downstairs have under floor heating. Upstairs there are radiators and a wood burner style gas stove. Heating is controlled by our visitors and is fully inclusive.
