The National Library of Wales is one of the great libraries of
the world. The Library is not only a library but also has thousands of manuscripts
and archives, pictures and photographs, maps, sound recordings and moving images
housed in the building. The map of Llareggub, the village of Under Milk Wood, created
by Dylan Thomas and drawn by the poet to help him as he wrote the now world famous
play for voices was acquired by the Library in 2004 as part of a larger collection

National Museums and Galleries of Wales (NMGW) was established
by Royal Charter in 1907 to promote a wider understanding and knowledge of the heritage,

The Principality Collectorplan scheme makes contemporary works of art affordable,
by providing an opportunity to take out an interest-free loan to buy contemporary
art and craft. Over 70 galleries in Wales participate in The Arts Council of Wales'
Principality Collectorplan scheme, which assists UK residents aged 18 and over to
buy original works of art and craft by living artists. The Arts Council of Wales
(ACW) is responsible for funding and developing the arts in Wales.

Youth Hostel Association
YHA operates a network of more than 200 Youth Hostels across England and Wales.
