ln the Gwyn Hall, Neath, the museum tells the story of Neath from pre-historic times, through the period of Roman ‘Nidum’ to medieval Neath and the splendour of Neath Abbey once called ‘The Fairest Abbey in all Wales’. Victorian Neath and the importance of heavy industry are also highlighted at the museum. A varied programme of temporary exhibitions also takes place in the gallery space at the Museum.
