We’re bringing landscape to life at Oriel y Parc - St Davids’ new world-class gallery - in the unique and beautiful setting of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Oriel y Parc is a state of the art fully-sustainable building dedicated to interpreting the special qualities of Pembrokeshire’s landscape and heritage with interesting exhibits, fun things to do, a Tourist Information Centre, a fully-interactive interpretation area and a café serving local food - entry is free.
The crescent-shaped building provides a showcase for treasures from the Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales collections, as well as bringing art to life through a fascinating programme of resident artists and a dedicated Discovery Room providing a base for the Centre’s Education Programme.
Phase 1 opening is July 2008 which includes the Tourist Information Centre, cafe, Interpretation Area and Discovery Room. Phase 2 opening is expected to be autumn 2008 and will be for the two main galleries displaying the treasures from Amgueddfa Cymru - National Musuem Wales’ collections.
