In 1990 Origin Dyfed Ltd. was established as a Community Craft Cooperative led by a core group of democratically elected maker-directors.
An unique enterprise the aims of the cooperative are: to promote the craft industry in the regions of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, which together make up the ancient Dyfed region of West Wales. To raise local standards of professional creativity and to provide a professional body to represent, support and promote local craftmakers and artists.
