An award winning museum founded in 1878 and one of the oldest independent museums in Wales. A registered charitable trust run largely by an enthusiastic band of volunteers. Permanent displays including archaeology, geology, the natural, maritime and social history of Tenby and South Pembrokeshire from the Stone Age to the 20th Century. The Wilfred Harrison Gallery houses a permanent collection of works by Augustus John, Gwen John, Nina Hamnet, E.J.Head, John Piper, John Knapp-Fisher, David Bellamy and many other local artists. Also hosts a full programme of frequently-changing exhibitions by local and national artists.
