This gripping film tells the story of legendary South West Wales poet Dylan Thomas through the eyes of the two women he loves. Broken promises, passion, betrayal under the shadow of war and threat of imminent death push the protagonist to the Edge of Love.
Many of the locations are in New Quay, Ceredigion and Cardigan Bay in West Wales, which was Dylan’s home and source of inspiration in the 1940s when the film is set.
The all-star cast includes Matthew Rhys as Swansea’s most famous son Dylan Thomas. The leading ladies Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley portray the talented poet’s wife and lover respectively. The film is directed by the award-winning John Maybury.
